The illusory world of religious iconology is but a single aspect of the grand illusion of the whole of religious, philosophic and scientific speculations…

Whenever you say…”this is the way…” is it anything more than the religious speculation of a dangerous mind…?

Is peace on Earth possible truly possible when every individual born into this world is quickly indoctrinated…or indoctrinates himself or herself into a belief system which imprisons the concept of God into exclusivity—the belief that my concept of God is not the God you serve—my concept of God is better than your concept of God…?

Speculation tends to translate religion into something material or humanistic, and thus, while directly interfering with the clarity of logical thought, it indirectly causes religion to appear as a function of the temporal world, the very world with which it should everlastingly stand in contrast. Therefore will religion always be characterized by paradoxes, the paradoxes resulting from the absence of the experiential connection between the material and the spiritual levels of the universe–morontia mota, the superphilosophic sensitivity for truth discernment and unity perception.

Humankind will never achieve religious, philosophic and scientific uniformity. So then…how can human civilization achieve true spiritual unity…when no one is willing to let go of his or her ego-attachment to the belief that God is not big enough to include all of His children on Earth…rather than an exclusive few…?

Religious speculation is inevitable but always detrimental; speculation invariably falsifies its object.

The human experience is drowning in every form of religious speculation both imaginable and unimaginable…

I share with you what I know (not what I believe). But since no two of us are alike in our perceptions and interpretations of both the inner and the outer…you may only interpret what I share based on your own unique perceptions and interpretations.

Thus when group of individuals, a collective, engage in mutual speculation for the purpose of the development of so-called religious or spiritual doctrines…they create a shared environment and atmosphere for manifesting organized so-called religious or spiritual philosophy—theology—theories about God…

What is the Superphilosophic Sensitivity 4

It takes almost no effort of the human intellect to become addicted to any belief system that exists or to bring a new one into existence… It does, however, take a supreme effort of the human will to “let go” of the attachment, addiction and self-imprisonment of an individual belief system…

Within a single generation…these religious speculations may become…absolute truth…with all but absolute control over the minds, hearts and souls—the feeling, thinking and actions of the believer, by an appointed and established ecclesiastical, traditional shamanistic, humanly appointed incarnations or reincarnations of gods/goddesses of authority.

The very definition of speculation implies falsehood…truth that falls short…even far short…of the spiritual values of truth, beauty and goodness…which are experienced as truth, beauty and goodness…are feelingly experienced and therefore experientially known…as juxtaposed with traditional and non traditional religious speculation.

The illusion of bestowed authority by traditional authority, regardless of the religious, philosophic or scientific traditional hierarchy of authority that bestows it…grants the individual the power and right to speak on behalf of  God…the spirit…the truth…even the absolute truth…?

Speculation tends to translate religion into something material or humanistic, and thus, while directly interfering with the clarity of logical thought, it indirectly causes religion to appear as a function of the temporal world, the very world with which it should everlastingly stand in contrast.

How can any religious system of thought and the followers of that system of religious thought stand in contrast with the world around it and them, when…the system of religious thought and its adherents (believers) are an organic part of the culture, traditions and government which controls them…?

One only has to study these religious systems of thought and carefully observe its adherents to come to the conclusion that not a single individual can ever stand in contrast to the system of religious thought which controls his or her thinking processes.

The belief in living incarnations of gods and goddesses, who possess divine authority to speak on behalf of the spiritual universes—spiritual authorities and principalities keeps great masses of human minds imprisoned to…spiritual awe…sacred reverence and worship of both iconology and the presumed living god/goddess himself/herself, and superstitious expectations…

Therefore will religion always be characterized by paradoxes, the paradoxes resulting from the absence of the experiential connection between the material and the spiritual levels of the universe–morontia mota, the superphilosophic sensitivity for truth discernment and unity perception.

And so we continually live on a planet of religious paradoxes…warring theologies…some outright warring with each other and others quietly maintaining isolation and assumed superiority over the rest…

While it is a fact that all of these religious systems of belief contain some truth…they all fall far short of the discernment of spiritual realities…

What is the Superphilosophic Sensitivity 6

Where does human religious, spiritual, philosophic and scientific illusions and delusions…begin and end…? Is it possible to let go of every belief and experience the inner divine freedom of…spiritual unity…light and life…?

It is only when the individual chooses to divorce himself or herself of these systems of religious thought…one may begin to develop, foster and continuously evolve a superphilosophic sensitivity for truth discernment and unity perception…which ultimately leads to a precisely clear and unequivocal perception of the indwelling Thought Adjuster…the indwelling spirit-fragment of Paradise origin directly issuing from the First Source and Center, the Paradise Father of all beings and all universes…who is directly connected and speaks to the mind and heart of the individual man, woman and child…

Is it…possible…that no matter what system of so-called religion and religious practices, spirituality and spirituality practices, philosophy and scientific philosophies you adhere to and believe in…they are nothing more than materialistic and illusory perceptions of the spiritual universes…

the paradoxical illusions of the mortal and material animal mind…?

The greatest illusion in this world is the illusion of separation. Who has achieved the greatest spiritual courage required to let go of the illusion of separation?

  1. What you say is true; ideologies and isms only portray only a tiny part of what God is and represents for example, the God of man not the God of all of what is.

    In my mind it doesn’t matter how tiny a religion represented God, at least we had some kind of recognition and appreciation of God in a chaotic world, what would the world have been like without religion? Take religion out of the equation and you have less unity and morals within a particular society.

    Ideologies and isms can fragment the collective but that needn’t be the case, it’s the people of these ideologies and isms who fragment the collective not the ideology or ism themselves through the mentality of this is the be and end all.

    Ideologies and isms give the people who are living in a chaotic destructive world a connection and hope. I don’t myself follow any set ideology or ism but I can see their value and their downside, one should never follow an ideology or ism and think this is the be and end all. I see this mentality as being a major problem of any ideology or ism.

    • I agree with your views on this, Mathew. There is a point of greater expansion and precise clarification, which it seems very few are able or willing to grasp.

      It is wholly natural for us humans to socialize our inner spiritual experiences. The great error is in calling it…religion… Everything that emanates from the will-mind-intellect is not religion. Every system of organized practice of ritualistic magic, prayer and worship of Force, Power, Spirit or God is not religion.

      Nothing that has built up out of individual inner spiritual experience, since the beginning of the first human pair…can be called religion. It can, however, be called…religious expression…religiosity…the imperfect and second experience of the real.

      In 1971…I purchased a book by Buckminster Fuller, called “No More Second Hand God.” I had really just begun my thinking on this deep challenge of understanding the difference between the genuine inner spiritual experience which is the reality of…true religion…inner spiritual contact with the indwelling spirit-fragment of God and the outer…the second hand, disingenuous, often twisted and less than factual and truthful expression of the inner…

      Reading Bucky’s book became a separate validation that I was on the right track in my thinking about this perplexing and profound challenge of separating clearly the inner from the outer.

      I can tell you about the many profound dreams I’ve had of inner contact with this divine spirit, of contact with angelic beings, of visions which occurred while awake. But the moment I tell you or any other person, I risk the possibility of creating a new ideology and ism–a new division between the mortal children of God–a new schism, which might create a few or massive followers and believers, were I to download the muse and become a charismatic leader.

      But this is not religion, even if it becomes the most elaborate and powerful ideology, ism and corporate, even sovereign state structure in the world. It ALL grew out of a second-hand account of a genuine inner experience.

      Are these ideologies and isms necessary, presently, in human experience? Yes. Are they religion? No. And it is this inability, and more often than not, unwillingness of the mortal individual to think deeply about the inner, juxtaposed with the outer, in order to redefine what is true religion and what is religiosity, which is the greatest challenge of this age.

      What we are really talking about, here, Mathew, is the difference between intellectual uniformity and conformity versus spiritual unity. Intellectual uniformity and conformity requires that we all believe, pray, meditate, and worship a higher power the same way, in order to find acceptance, to be accepted by a particular group practicing a particular set of beliefs. It is this very selfish and self-serving attitude of the egoic self, which refuses to acknowledge that we all are His mortal children; there are no chosen groups.

      We are all spiritually equal in the sight of God, all being endowed with the same indwelling spirit-fragment. And it is specifically this refusal and selfish egoic attitude, which creates the division–the ideology, ism and schism. The great irony is that such ideologies, isms and schisms were/are all based on the distorted, second hand recounting of the inner genuine spiritual experience of one or more individuals, occurring in the past/present.

      Spiritual unity only requires that we all realize that we are one family of the mortal children of God, being endowed with the same indwelling spirit. And thus, God, becomes the central focus of all believers, no matter how great the differences in belief and practice. There is only one Father-God of the Universe of universes. And this Father-God is above and beyond every second hand thought, every second hand philosophy, every second hand scientific calculation, and every second hand religious belief and every second spirituality belief.

      Until human civilization can make this distinction, the religious struggles, conflicts and wars that have backed us up to the edge of the precipice of the abyss of great destruction still looms large in front of us…

      It seems to me, Mathew, that you are on the edge of being able to make this distinction. 🙂
